Architectural Control Committee (ACC)  Chairman Kerri Brown
ACC meets on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month to review applications for new construction and external changes to existing properties to ensure compliance with River Plantation’s guidelines.

Special Events  Chairman Sheryl Bittick
This committee is made of as many volunteers as it can get and organizes a number of events for residents throughout the year, starting with the Easter Egg Hunt and ending with The Christmas Decorating Contest. (For more detail click on the Special Events link on the homepage.)
 
Grounds & Maintenance  Chairman Christopher Bradford
This committee is in charge of maintenance of the subdivision in general, including the RPCIA building, Gazebo, Bridge, parks, and common areas.  It collects bids and contracts for mowing, trimming, street repair, park maintenance, street signs, and general repairs.   
 
Communications  Chairman Nicole Zimmerman
Responsible for communicating information to the residents via the signs posted at the front and back entrances to the subdivision, Writing and editing "The Bridge" quarterly newsletter, and the RPCIA web site.

Nominating Committee  Chairman Nicole Zimmerman
Chairman is assisted by all board members in prospecting for candidates to serve on RP’s 15 member board of directors.  Board members can be any resident who can commit to a meeting once a month, four home owners meetings annualy, and serving on one to two committees.  Most current board members work full time and enjoy being able to participate and serve our community... plus we’re a great bunch of people!
 
Residential Compliance  Chairman Sam Jones
Moniters residents’ compliance with deed restrictions to comply with neighborhood standards as defined in the deed restrictions of each section.
 
Security  Chairman Alex Valero
Coordinates traffic and security patrol, which is privately contracted by RPCIA with the constables office.   (Click on the Security link under Services on the homepage for more detail on security patrol.)
 
Office Liason  Chairman Nicole Zimmerman
Coordinates duties of office staff in implementing collection procedures and day-to-day operations of the RPCIA office.
 
Collections  Chairman Charles Herrera
A one-person committee which oversees collection of fees from the residents for RP amenities, services, and subdivision maintenance.
 
Special Projects 
Coordination of special projects and committees is on a case-by-case basis. (i.e. additional streetlights, etc.).

The RPCIA Board of Directors is comprised of 15 volunteer positions. Members are elected by the residents and make decisions on behalf of the home owners in the best interest of the subdivision. Board members commit to attending a monthly board meeting and (four) quarterly home-owners meetings and serve on one or two committees.

Monthly board meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month.

Quarterly homeowners meetings take place the fourth Tuesday in January, April, June, and October. "The Bridge" newsletter is sent out prior to each meeting.
