Association Fees
River Plantation property owners enjoy some of the lowest fees of any other major Montgomery County subdivision. Our fees consist of an Annual Maintenance Fee of $60 due in July, a Quarterly Service Fee of $60 and a Quarterly Trash Service Fee (for properties with homes) of $60 due in July, October, January and April. Invoices for these fees are sent to the property owners on the 1st of the month that they are due.
Since these fees are our only source of revenue for maintaining the beauty and integrity of River Plantation it is a big help if you pay them by the due dates (and it also saves you late fees). If you prefer to avoid periodic billings, and at the same time help your community, payments for the entire year are appreciated. Service Fees: Trash Service
“Back door” trash service is available to all RP property owners for a quarterly fee of $60.00. “Back door’ means that the “household trash” containers must be visible from and accessible from the driveway. The collectors are not allowed to enter the garage, even if the door is open, or fenced areas.
“Household trash” is the trash created in the daily, normal operation of the household. It does not include leaves, plant material, tree limbs, construction materials such as bricks, rocks, fencing, drywall, lumber, or carpeting.
Leaves, plant material, and other refuse may be placed at the street line for pickup and must be in containers or trash bags. Limbs and branches must be cut and bundled in lengths of 4 feet or less and placed at the street line.
Furniture, appliances or large amounts of trash will be picked up if you make arrangements by calling the RPCIA office, 273 2002, by 10:00 a.m. Thursday for Friday pickup. Sorry, no building materials or carpeting.
Please help keep RP clean by placing trash for collection at the curb no earlier that 6:00 p.m. the evening before the Tuesday or Friday pickup and removing all empty trash containers from the street, yard or driveway by 10:00 p.m. the day of collection.
There is no trash collection on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving or Christmas. If one of these holidays falls on a scheduled collection day, trash will be collected on the next scheduled collection day.

RPCIA contracts security and traffic patrol through the Pct.2 Constables office at varying hours throughout the week. You can also request a "vacation watch" on your home through the RPCIA office. For emergencies call 9-1-1.
