The Parks at River Plantation
There are three parks within River Plantation:
Tom Phillips Park is just across the covered bridge by the main entrance of River Plantation. Its lovely garden setting and gazebo is a popular location for wedding and prom pictures.
Gwen Hruska Park, off of Brandon Road along the golf course, has concrete walking paths and a nine-hole disc golf course. For Disc Golf rules of play and the course map click here.
The Park at River Plantation is a new acquisition (2008) open to all residents of River Plantation and their guests. This park features a Junior Olympic size pool, baby pool, playground, seven tennis courts, a basketball court, and a pavilion.The park is open to RP residents and their guests from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily. Guests must be accompanied by resident.

The pool can be reserved by residents for private parties by emailing the RP CIA office at: rpcia@consolidated.net.

Pool Information
- A Waiver of Liability will need to be signed by all RP residents wishing to use the pool at The Park in River Plantation. These are available at the pool or on the forms page.
- Residents must be in possession of their pool cards and guests must sign in upon entering the pool area.
- Pool is open seasonally: May (weekends & Memorial Day only). June, July & August.
- Pool Hours of Operation:
Monday CLOSED
Tuesday-Saturday l0 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday 12 noon - 8 p.m.
- Pool Hours and days of operation are at the discretion of RPCIA.
Pool Rental
The pool can be reserved by residents for private parties by emailing the RP CIA office at: rpcia@consolidated.net.
- Pool will be available by reservation for private parties after 8 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. (before or after normal pool hours). Monday rentals are possible with special approval via RPCIA and pool management.
- Rental may not interfere with normal pool hours.
- Rental Rates: (Separate checks for rental & Clean-up deposit, made out to RPCIA)
- $50 Clean-up Deposit (Refundable upon satisfactory clean-up).
- $50 /hour, 2 hour minimum ($100)
- Plus $10 per hour to Rinaldi Recreation for each lifeguard present.
- Lifeguards must be reserved separately by calling Rinaldi Recreation at (936) 521-5084.
- 1 Lifeguard per 25 Swimmers.
- Lifeguards must be present any time pool is occupied, including for private parties.
- $50 Clean-up Deposit (Refundable upon satisfactory clean-up).
- Normal pool rules apply to private party rentals.
Pavilion Rental
- Pavilion may be rented by residents for private parties between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
- Rentals are in 2 hour increments
- Weekend rentals 2 hour maximum
- Residents may use individual tables on a first come first serve basis if the pavilion is not rented.
- Pavilion Rental Rate: (Separate checks for rental & Clean-up deposit, made out to RPCIA)
- $50 / 2 hour rental
- $50 Clean-up Deposit (refundable upon satisfactory clean-up)
